We will be utilising telephone consultations to assess and advise the majority of patients. We would appreciate your assistance in preventing the possible spread of infection by not attending the Health Centre unless instructed by a clinician, having had a telephone consultation first.
Those with pre-booked appointments will be contacted to discuss whether these need to be face-to-face consultations or whether alternative arrangements can be made.
Given the anticipated demand on healthcare services over the next few weeks we are reducing our non-urgent and private services. We a looking to reduce your need to come to the Health Centre by sending all prescriptions directly to your chosen Chemist.
We appreciate that a common way of accessing our book-on-the-day appointments has been attending the Health Centre, either first thing in the morning or throughout the day, but we would strongly advise patients not to do this. Appointments will no longer be available to be booked in this way. This is to reduce the risk of spreading infection and to allow us to maximise the use of our clinical resources.
