Multiple system atrophy (MSA) is a neurological disorder that affects adult men and women. It is caused by degeneration or atrophy of nerve cells in several areas of the brain. This can result in problems with movement, balance and autonomic functions of the body such as bladder and blood pressure control.

Huntington's Disease (HD) is a complex neurological condition with symptoms that typically begin to develop between the ages of 30 and 50. (In around 5-10% of cases HD symptoms develop before the age of 20 - this is known as Juvenile Huntington's disease).

MS is a lifelong condition that affects the central nervous system, causing a wide range of symptoms which affect people in different ways.
